Account and plans
Free forever, and no card
Dictation — you speak your language, the same language lands in the field. Two ways on one key: hold it to record while you hold and paste the whole text at once, or tap it to start the secretary, talk as long as you like and watch the text appear as you speak. No word cap, no card, no daily quota. The account you create in the first-run setup is free too. From the network it needs the speech models it downloads once, and the catalogues it refreshes while Settings are open.
Term dictionaries are free too: ready-made sets and your own names are substituted into the text after recognition. Additional context checking by a local model needs access to style features and an installed model.
What a plan opens
Five things:
- Dictation with translation — you speak yours, English lands in the field.
- Style presets — Prompt (speech becomes a clean instruction for an AI agent) and Professional (formal, polite); you can rewrite what each tone means. The experimental voice prompt shares this right. Turning rewriting off is free: it is the absence of the feature, not the feature.
- Subtitles — live subtitles with translation.
- Translation under the cursor.
- Meeting recording — records a call and keeps its transcript in local history; text can be copied and exported.
What exactly a plan contains comes from the server, not from the app. Anything not in it stays closed.
The trial starts by itself
The first-run setup asks you to sign in or create a free account. Creating it starts a 14-day trial — you do not have to ask, and no card is needed. Everything above works from day one.
If the trial has ended and you have no plan, the dictation panel tells you what to do when you press a hotkey for a paid feature. It never fails silently.
No word limits, on any plan
Apps that send your voice to a server count your words, because every request costs them money. Here nothing runs on a server, so there is nothing to count.
Paying and cancelling
Paddle is our reseller and merchant of record: it takes the payment, handles tax, issues receipts and processes cancellations and refunds. You buy a plan from inside the app: its “See plans” button opens the plans page. Monthly and annual are charged at purchase and renew until you cancel; lifetime is one payment. The free trial is separate and does not depend on a plan — when it ends, the paid features lock and nothing is charged automatically. Cancelling stops future charges and leaves your access until the end of the period you already paid for.
The exact prices and the money-back window are on the pricing page: they come from the server, and repeating them here would mean drifting apart one day.
