Hold. Speak. Release.
Dictate Russian — I'll write English!
- No word limits
- Works offline
- Your speech and text are processed on your Mac
Recognition, translation and tone run on your Mac. There is no server behind them, so there is nothing to meter — dictate all day, on every plan.
One Slack message, seven steps.
The thought is ready in a second — in your own language. The rest of the time goes into getting it out in English. Every message, all day.
Measured on 20 real messages in our own team — your numbers will differ.
≈ 55 minutes a day, translating yourself.
37× faster per message — about 54 minutes back, every day.
Two keys, two ways each.
Hold the shortcut, speak, release — the text is inserted where your cursor already is. Nothing to open, nothing to paste.
Plain dictation
Your spoken language, as heard — Russian or Ukrainian in, the same out.
Translated dictation
Speak Russian or Ukrainian, natural English lands in the field.
Secretary — tap the key
Tap the key and dictate for as long as you like — the text lands in one field as you speak. A whole email, a doc, a spec, by voice. Free.
One sentence — as said, or professional.
Pick the tone with a button on the dictation panel, even mid-recording. The same words go out as you said them — or formal and polite, for a client.
You say«Я опоздаю минут на десять»
Your speech is processed on your Mac.
Recognition, translation and text processing run on your Mac, without sending them to the cloud. Speech models, a local translator and a style model work on-device. Once the necessary models are downloaded, dictation works even on a plane.
No one is counting your words.
People write in English through it every day.

Which languages?
Translation covers 21 languages, including Russian, Ukrainian, English, German, Spanish, French, Polish, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Russian/Ukrainian → English is built in; other directions need their models downloaded. Speech recognition supports a separate language list.
Where does it type?
Into the active text field: Slack, Gmail, Jira, Notion, an editor or a terminal. Insertion needs Accessibility permission. If a field does not accept the insertion, you can try Paste Last again.
Does my voice leave the Mac?
Recognition, translation and text processing run on your Mac, without sending them to a processing server. Plain dictation needs no account.
What about an accent or mixed speech?
Mixed Russian-English speech is normal input — technical words stay as they are.
How fast is it?
Text appears about a second after you release the key for a short message; a longer one takes a little more. Tap the key briefly and the secretary starts: the text lands in batches as you speak.
What does closed beta mean, and what happens to the price?
A build sent by hand and a call to set up your hotkeys. Lifetime buyers keep lifetime after launch; monthly stays $9 for everyone who joins during the beta.
How does billing and cancellation work?
Monthly starts with a 14-day free trial — nothing is charged until it ends, and cancelling during the trial costs nothing. After the trial (or right away for annual), the plan renews automatically at the price shown until you cancel; cancelling stops future renewals and you keep access until the current paid period ends. Lifetime is one payment, once, with no renewal. Every paid purchase is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Paddle, our reseller and the merchant of record, handles the actual charge, receipts and cancellation.
